I have to start at the beginning. Stetson having hair has really messed me up. When I read about care for babies I just assume that it will work for Stetson, but I forget to factor in hair (or at least hair in this high quantity!) My first mistake was concerning baby soap. When my mother came to visit this summer we went to the farmers market and we bought some goats milk baby soap. I love it and I just went straight to work using it as an all purpose soap/shampoo (because, I mean, J&J is so why not this too?). It took me a whole two months of my sons hair always looking greasy to start me thinking. I started to think hummm this doesn't say shampoo like J&J does... and then I realized that I had been washing my son's hair with just soap, that's it, soap... That mistake was quickly righted.
The second came yesterday right before I was going to take a four month picture. Stetson has cradle cap, which I have been able to ignore because it can't be seen unless you pick at it. I mentioned that to my wonderful mother-in-law who looked up some ways to help. We read that you could meerly put baby oil on the baby's head, let it sit for 10 minutes and then wash it all away with baby shampoo. Great! So I had Mack go by some. As I starting the process I thought, hummm it's kind of hard to get it down in the scalp because of all this hair! But, I still didn't think about the consiquensis of my actions. So 10 minutes later, I sat Stetson in the bath and we washed his hair. I then took him out and started to brush his hair (because yes I have to brush my baby's hair) and this is when I realized my mistake! His hair was still sticking together and was sticking STRAIGHT up!! Ahhhh I quickly went back to the bath and did as the bottle says lather, rinse, repeat. After 3 washes there was no improvement. Here are some pictures to prove it.
Long story short, Dawn soap was involved and now my son looks normal again. :) Here are some more examples of the hair.
Here are a few more pictures that we have taken recently.

| FOUR MONTHS! |

Oh my goodness, I never would've thought that a little baby oil would do all that! Obviously I've never had a baby with that much hair, though ;)
