I love spending holidays with my in-laws. It reminds me of the summers where my family would come to visit our Okie relatives. So many people, and so much love! This year we had 4 out of the 5 siblings all together (we missed you Applegate family! See you this summer!). That meant we had 10 adults and 10 grandkids running around. Oh the JOY!
It is always an adventure when we go out! Here is a little snapshot of our outing to Mcalister's. When we showed up he man who took our order told everyone in back, 'this is the calm before the storm, get ready!'
But can you say you have ever seen a cuter storm then these guys?? I submit that you have not!!
Say hello to to Joe Dirt! While we were out Stetson EXPLODED and I didn't have a extra onsie so we went redneck style. I think he just wanted to show off his rolls ;)
Here is a picture of Stetson's first time sitting in the cart! It was during our trip to Hobby Lobby. I have to say this was one of my favorite things we did during New Years. It was just me, Stephanie, Whitney and the babies. I really enjoy these quite time with my sister-in-laws where I get to know them better and learn from them! So thanks for going with me girls!

There are three little cousins born in the same year, Everly, Stetson and Fischer. Since we have the bows laying around can you blame us? Everly needed some girlfriends for the day!
Some other things that happened during the week:
- We got to play games when kids went to bed:) Minus me on New Years Eve.... Stetson had a ear infection and could not sleep.
- The girls helped, well actually made, my mom a family birthday sign! I must say they are my hero's for this! It was HARD work! It turned out BEAUTIFULLY, I will post pictures when I give it to her in February.
- I got bucked of one of the horses. Out of Stupidity really, but that makes me and official cowgirl, right??
- And last, but not least, the most exciting part of our trip was when we had arrived at the airport in Tulsa to come home only to fine our ride was and hour and a half away! Phillip had driven to the Oklahoma City Airport instead! Phillip, we can now officially laugh about it. ;)
Well I know that was really choppy and scattered, but hey, that's me! Take it or leave it! :)
Love the update, choppy or not! It was so great to visit with your cute family! I agree, hobby lobby was one of my favorite parts too. :-)
ReplyDeleteGreat post! Love the pictures, I just feel sorry for the boys in the bows. At some point maybe 13 years from now, they may have something to say about this post....
