So Many Firsts!

Well Stetson had some exciting firsts happen recently! First, he turned one month!! Yay!

This also happened to be the Fourth of July! So we had his first Hurst Holiday Dinner and then the three of us left early to get to Boomer Lake to watch the fireworks in the safety of the car. Stetson slept right threw them :)

Stetson has also started smiling at us:) You should here the conversations between Mimi and Granddad about who he is smiling at! ;) These pictures are from an early morning session... which if you have ever seen me wake up, you know he doesn't get happy mornings from me!

This next first was not fun. Stetson had his first shot. However, Stetson took it MUCH better than Mack and I did! Stetson let out one little cry and then was looking around like, what's the big deal?

He is too big for the car seat helper! He looks like a big boy!!! 

Next  was the bow ties:) We decided for his blessing I was going to make Stetson a bow tie to match the tie Mack will wear. Mack's tie will be special because it is the tie he wore for our wedding. We are doing this because Stetson will be blessed exactly one year almost to the hour that we got married. We got married at about 10:45 and Stetson will be blessed at about 11:15 :) So long story short, I started experimenting with how big to make it. This was the best so far. I thought it looked great even though Mack kept telling me it was way to big for his face. I didn't believe him till we took pictures, but I still made him keep it on all of church! It was too cute to take off! Then to top it all off cousin Tanner was wearing his bow tie. Can you say perfect timing?!

And last but not least Stetson experience life without AC! Ended up being 88  in the house before I caved and packed up everyone for Stetson's first sleep over at Mimi's house. It may have been hot but we sure got a cute picture out of it. Dad had stripped him down and set him on the diaper mat to cool down. You know its hot when Stetson is ok with laying on the mat! Every time you lay him down on it he SCREAMS!
