My Littlest Cowboy

This blog will be a short one about Stetson, mostly just pictures. Every Sunday Granddad takes Stetson out to see the horses. This way Stetson will be able to touch and smell and see the horses. As you can tell with a name like Stetson, we are hoping that we are going to raise a Cowboy. ;) Granddad snuck Stetson on a horse with out me being able to take a "first ride" picture these are the best I can could do. Stetson at almost 16 weeks:)
Stetson and Mary, soon to be best of friends!

I can't tell who looks more concerned me or him!

Gotta have one with the tongue sticking out

I love this last picture in comparison to the picture where I am holding him! Feeling safe with Granddad holding him :) The boys talking and hanging out with the horses.

  3. Oh, loved it!! Definitely a cowboy! It always made me happy how dad helps get the kids used to the animals. He sets the rules, but helps the little beasties be around them so they aren't frightened. He's so stinkin' cute, by the way :)

  5. Oh! I didn't even think of "first ride". Crud by then I just figured he'd had 15 or so other rides. He likes to touch the hair on their face and neck. I like him to look into their eyes for that deeper connection. It's good for him to be up close to see, smell and feel them and realize they are big, but not be fearful. That is where it all starts. What a fun little man. It won't be long and we'll be trying to keep him from walking underneath them.
